The department of enterprise economy was created in 1996.
In 1998 the department was accredited on training of bachelors, in July, 1999 – on training of specialists, in 2001 – on training of masters on "Enterprise economy" specialty.
Since September, 1, 2000 the department is headed by Hanna P. Ljashenko, candidate of economic sciences, Associate Professor.

In 1972 she graduated from Irpin industrial technical school (speciality – planning of engineering industry), and in 1980 she graduated from Korotchenko Kyiv institute of national economy. (speciality – labour economics)

In 2000 she defended the dissertation on speciality “Finance, money turnover and credit” in Shevchenko Kyiv national university.

 Ljashenko H.P. is the author of 28 scientific works, co-author of monograph “Transformation processes and regulatory policy in economy of Ukraine”, 5 educational-methodical manuals.

There are 4 doctors and 9 candidates of sciences at the department.
The department trains specialists on specialization of "Economy and taxation of enterprise".
At the department the following disciplines are taught: "Economy of enterprise", "Marketing", "Economy of work and social-labour relations", "Accommodation of productive forces and regional economy", "Enterprise strategy", "Planning of enterprise activity", "Internal economic mechanism of enterprise", "Organization of production", "Economy and organization of innovational activity", "Potential of enterprise: formation and evaluation", "Management of enterprise expenditures", "Enterprise activity and its taxation", "Management of the enterprise capital", "Economy and organizing activity of enterprises' associations", "Management of the enterprise potential", "Economic diagnostics", "Management of efficiency of taxation subjects' activity", "Theory of business".

Such disciplines as "Management of tax service", "Organization of clerical work in STS bodies", "Economic risk and taxation risk", "Tax system", "Administration of taxes and payments", form a specialist of the mentioned specialization.
At the department the research "Economic mechanism of increasing tax payments of subjects of managing" is being carried out.
The important direction of researches concerns problems of taxation, formation of solvency of enterprises and branch-territorial structure of the taxation base in a regional aspect.
The instructors and lecturers published 16 manuals, 10 books under the signature of The Ministry of Education are among them.
Much attention is paid to the research work of students who participate in scientific students' conferences, all-Ukrainian competitions, Olympiads.
Graduates of the "Enterprise economy" speciality can work in economic sphere of structural divisions of enterprises, firms, as chiefs both of corresponding economic divisions and state structures, in particular in STS bodies.
At the department the postgraduate courses and doctoral studies on speciality of "Accommodation of productive forces" function. Among teachers of the department there are 6 post-graduate students, 2 doctor's degree students and 3 competitors.
