The Financial Law Department was founded in 1998 on the basis of the Department of law and Special subjects. The department trains specialists on financial law.

The department provides teaching of the following disciplines: “Financial Law’, “Bank Law”, “Customs Law”, Tax Law of Foreign Countries”, ‘Legal Basis of the Financial Control Realization” and others.
28 instructors work at the department, among them: there 3 doctors of jurisprudence, 9 candidates of jurisprudence, 1 candidate of economic sciences, 8 seniour teachers who are post-graduate students (competitors).

The department carries out research work on the subject “Actual Problems of Theory and Practice of Financial Procedural Law”. The scientific students’ society of the department consists of 20 persons. Students take an active part in scientific-theoretical conferences.

At the department the postgraduate study on speciality “Theory of Management, Administrative Law, Financial Law, Informational Law” operates.
