Grigory G. ZabarnyjThe department of civil and special disciplines was founded in September 1997.
In 2006 the department was reorganized in the department of civil and economic-law sciences.
Grigory G. Zabarnyj, candidate of jurisprudence, docent heads the department.
In 1984 Grigory G. Zabarnyj graduated from Kyiv Higher School of MID of USSR on “Law” speciality.
In 1987 he defended candidates dissertation on speciality 12.00.02 “State law and management; Soviet construction; Administrative law; Financial law” on a theme “Specialized external control of militia”.
He is the author of over 50 scientific works.

At the department of civil-law disciplines 37 teachers work, among them there are 2 doctors and 7 candidates of jurisprudence. 8 teachers of the department work at the researches of dissertation, 43 students and cadets take part in scientific work as members of students’ scientific society.
The department together with the Department of legal maintenance of the STA of Ukraine investigates the theme "Participation of the STS bodies in compensation of the harm caused by tax payment evasion".

The department provides teaching of the following disciplines: "Civil and family law", "Civil procedure", "Labor law", "Legal bases of enterprise activity", "Economic law", "Economic legislation", "Pretentious-claim work", “International law”, "Ecological law", "Economic procedural law", etc.
