Gatska Lyudmila Pavlivna, Candidate of economic sciences, Associate Professor heads the department.
In 1986 Gatska L.P. graduated from the economic faculty of the Kyiv T.G. Shevchenko state university (economist, teacher of political economy).
In 1996 she defended the Candidate thesis.
The sphere of her scientific interests concerns the government and state regulation of foreign trade activities.
At the Department 2 professors, 7 candidates of sciences, 7 senior teachers and 5 teachers work.

The basic direction of the Department scientific activity is researching the subject "Tax management in transitive economy". The important direction of the Department activity is the organization and carrying out of classes in the Center of retraining and improvement of professional skills of the staff for STS of Ukraine.
Directions of the research activity of the Department teachers are as follows:
1. The government and state regulation (Gatska L.P).
2. Resource maintenance of management, documenting, including electronic documenting (Savchenko O.F).
3. Aspects of tax management development in modern conditions (Filonenko M.M).
4. Financial management of trading establishments (Voronkova O.M., Bidak O.V.).
5. Management of credit operations in banks (Pobocha K.P).
6. Management of civil officers (Zhuravsky V.L., Yevtushenko G.I., Novitska O.V.).
7. Social and economic aspects of management at the present stage of the economy development (Nesenenko M.S., Kosharska N.E.).
