The University center of the humanitarian education was created on March, 18, 2003 with the purpose of training specialists on the humanitarian and applied specialties who are capable to solve problems in the field of social processes management, to foresee social - legal relations in the Ukrainian society.
To train specialists in the field of sociology 6.040200 "Social work" specialty with "Social technologies in non-productive sphere, image making" specialization (education-qualifying level of "bachelor") was opened in the Center.
The structure of the Center includes the following departments: department of Philosophy and Sociology (profiling), department of foreign languages, department of vital activity's safety, department of psychology and pedagogics, department of modern language communications and culture, department of physical training.
Training of students is carried out by the highly skilled faculty including one doctor and 9 candidates of sciences.

Specialists on sociology should provide researches and practical work on such basic directions:
– Forecasting and research of humanistic socioeconomics society;
– Enrichment of society spiritual culture;
– Creation of objective and subjective conditions for perspective development of business relations;
– Increase of professional skills of specialists;
– Actualization of innovational ideas and business relations;
– Formation of civil and professional outlook of managers.

Director of the Center (on public principles) was appointed the head of the philosophy department Ibragimov Mykhailo Mykhailovych, Candidate of philosophical sciences, Professor, the deserved worker of the Ukrainian national education.

In 2003-2004 the center of humanitarian education and the Philosophy and Sociology department held:
– A round table "Philosophy of modern humanism" (together with philosophical faculty of Kyiv Shevchenko national university and Institute of Philosophy of the Ukrainian NAS);
– Lecture-debate "Essence and values of Christ's Revival";
– The second Irpin the international pedagogical readings;
– Student's scientific-practical conference " Dialogue of civilization: contradictions of globalization";
– Olympiad on philosophy;
– Debates "From Adam and Eve", "Problems of modern family", etc.

The faculty of modern language communications and culture organized the scientific conference "Humanistic bases of the tax collector professional work" and a round table "Ways of improving language training of students in a higher school".
The department of vital activity's safety held the 5th students' scientific-practical conference "Protection of work and social protection of workers in Ukraine". Olympiad on ecological subjects, a number of scientific seminars were organized among which there were: "Main principles of rational water use", "Actual problems of vital activity's safety", etc.

Due to the participation of the foreign languages' department and to the assistance of the British Council coordinator in Ukraine Alexander Shalenko the scientific - methodical presentation "European integration processes in the field of education" took place. A number of actions on expansion of students' outlook and deepening of foreign languages' knowledge was held, among them there were various competitions, quizzes, meetings.
